Mrs. Cara Blevins

Hello Century Family! I am extremely honored to be serving as the principal at Century Elementary. It is a privilege to be spending my days with your child and a part of such an outstanding school community. 

I believe that great schools are the results of great teachers, so my primary objective will be to ensure that every student is receiving high-quality instruction at Century Elementary. In order to do this, I will be providing teachers and staff with quality feedback on their instruction, access to professional development, and reaching out to parents for support with academic and behavioral concerns to ensure our students reach their maximum potential. I will be working closely with our staff to guarantee that all students are intellectually challenged and have access to the social and emotional support critical to students during the elementary years. As many of you already know, the entire Century staff is dedicated to this as well.

I‘ve learned that success in education comes from a collaboration of students, parents, teachers, and the community.  Here at Century we value this team approach and welcome volunteers and/or assistance when necessary in our school programs. As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors-staff, students, parents, family and community members- feels welcome and are excited and happy to be at Century Elementary! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment.

I am thrilled to start the new school year and join the Century family. As your assistant principal, my mission is to foster a collaborative and inclusive elementary school community. I believe that every individual at Century matters, and together, we can achieve greatness. Through encouraging problem-solving, risk-taking, and goal-setting, I aim to inspire a lifelong passion for learning in our students, empowering them to embrace their strengths and uniqueness.
